A truly amazing group of people. They care for our dogs like they are their own. We have a nightmare golden retriever with various health issues, who went through double hip surgery this summer with Dr. Flannigan’s team. They supported us, checked in post-op to see how he was doing, and provided the best care possible. We won’t trust our pups with anyone else!

Dr. Flanigan and her team fit us in on short notice when we were visiting from out of town. She took the time to explain and make sure we understood the plan for both of our dogs. They were efficient, professional, and caring. It’s always stressful when something happens to your pets when away from home, so it puts us at ease to have their help. We had an emergency with our dog in the middle of the night while visiting family in Wilmington at Christmas. Google brought us to this clinic and we were lucky. The doctor was compassionate and obviously knowledgeable. I appreciated her straightforward and thoughtful manner when dealing with our dog. The outcome wasn’t what we wanted, but Eli was treated with care and kindness as were we. We would highly recommend this clinic to locals or people in from out of town.

Dr Flannigan, Ruth, and all the staff are kind and caring. I had an Emergency night before Christmas. Dr Flannigan was in another town. Came Right over. Meet me and Lucifer. I don’t know what I would have done without her. She knows my pet’s history. I’ve been going to Dr Flannigan at the Lake Placid Animal Hospital since she opened. Wouldn’t go to any other vet. Dr. Flannigan and her staff are great. I was up in Lake Placid for a week and my pup got hurt while hiking. They were able to get him in quickly and took great care of him. Prices are also very reasonable.

I can’t say enough good things. Helped us deliver a litter of pups on the phone very late one night, the only place I will take my pets to. Have helped us and seen ya through some very hard things. We very much appreciate this team!
